Man Has Three 4-Inch Nails Hammered Into His Skull - But Is Expected To Fully Recover

A man in Fuhian Province, China, arrived at the hospital with three 4-inch nails embedded in his skull.

Miraculously, the unnamed 69-year-old patient made a full recovery after three months in the hospital and is expected to have no lingering effects, according to news wire services.

The four-inch nails were hammered into his skull all the way up to the base.

It is not clear who is responsible for the shocking act. Doctors said the man claimed he put them in himself, and asked them not to call the police.

The incident happened in Haifeng County, Fuhian Province, China, in December of 2013. The man was released from the hospital this week.
